Matt, karma has a way of coming around. You’ve helped people out in the past and we’re happy to return the favor.
I’ll pray tonight for her continued recovery.

They did a CAT scan yesterday and found a shadow on her kidney. They went in today and put in a shunt so she could pass it. The doctors are almost certain that this is the origin of the infection that went septic. I have not seen her today. I was doing some work for an old army buddy (garage door repair), but my BIL kept me updated. They were going to remove her from the ventilator today as long as her breathing was more normal. I do not know if the surgery changed that.

Thanks so much my Pelican family !! It means a lot to me !!

Thanks for the update Matt.

Prayers for her speedy recovery.

Matt, thanks for the update. Prayers will continue. Glad the Docs have found what they think is the source of the trouble. That was close.
Let your sister know there are a lot of fairly nice guys on her side.
If you need anything else, you know how to ask.
Best
Les

Prayers sent! Glad to hear the good update.

Great news to hear that your Sister is doing better. I have a coworker that became septic and has been in the hospital for several months but has now been moved to a rehab facility. His issue started with surgery on a hernia and bacteria in his lungs. It has been a long recovery but he is much better now.
Best wishes and more prayers for your Sister and your family!!!

So it was a stone? I've had a few, not fun in the least but thank god, I never had a complication like sepsis. I probably don't have to tell you how serious of a condition that is. Also, the type of "help" they gave her to pass it is one situation where it's a heck of a lot better to be a woman than a man!!

Still, no fun...poor thing. I hope she continues to improve. What's her name? So we can make sure that the prayers go in the right mailbox. ;)

My sister's name is Anne. She will be 66 in September.

Thanks all !,
