Ode to Billy Joe was in my head last night, but I couldn't remember the name or artist. A colleague in the UK mentioned it just now and mentioned it being by Nancy Wilson. It didn't ring a bell. That's because I was only familiar with the Bobby Gentry version (which I like), but the Nancy Wilson version is good and very different from the Bobby Gentry version, wow.
