Ahhhhh. Mondays.

First thing out the door is a 8 hour WebEx meeting. I wish my office chair had a headrest.

Zzzzz this is awful. My phone is blowing up, people asking for vacation all on the same week, boss is out of town so I’m fielding all questions.

Five days. I can make it.

Try retirement. This was my Sunday, all to be dealt with this week:

I WILL NOT rain, so I spend 3 hours a day watering plants.

Heat tube on my breathing machine stopped heating

Months old toilet has a crack in it

Electric smoker stopped heating

Pool cover started disintegrating

Kittens need new enclosure

AND STILL no time to make progress on getting my '56 coupe on the road

Thankfully thinking about Saturday still makes me smile.

An 8 hour meeting like that used to be an internal offsite. Usually lunch was provided, along with mid-morning snacks. No one was allowed to leave the conference room except for potty breaks.

You should requisition a new chair, something like this:

Hey you can do it, you're the BOSS today.

Just make like Oprah! "You get a vacation.... you get a vacation... you get a vacation". Just make sure you're leaving for vacation when the boss gets back!
