Never understood the attraction of all the newer plastic feeling knives out there these days.
Buck knives have always been the gold standard for the common man... I've got so many Bucks, going back to the late 1960's. For fishing, hunting, general carry around. Once I picked up a hitchhiker in South Dakota, somehow he stole my first one. Always been pissed about that, but probably lucky he didn't stick me in my side with it... |

returned the 55 and ordered another one which will hopefully be better
and just ordered a 192 Vangaurd. have had a few Bark River models in my sites but figured i wouldn’t give the $99 192 a shot before spending $250ish on the BR. can’t wait for it, although i don’t hunt. probably use it for kitchen duties and anything else i use a knife for |
