Tudor? Is it grey market? Seems like you'd want a factory repair to ensure sure it's watertight if you think you're going to dunk while outzz in the canoe!
![]() (edit- I gues their bigger brother watch repairers would be up to the task though! ![]() Last edited by LEAKYSEALS951; 08-23-2021 at 08:58 AM.. |

I have always used the Rolex factory service center in Dallas. Had several Tudors, along with all the Rolexes. They’re happy to work on them. Like with all watches they service, the watch has to be recent enough that they still have parts for them. Last one I had serviced there was from the 80s, don’t know what the current status is.

There's a place in Canton my pal just had a mid 80's date-just with a fluted bezel refurbished. It cost about $900. Not the factory but I can find out if affiliated.

You might call Rolex and ask if they'll just swap a crystal for you without a full service, as you just recently had one and it's not time for another. Might get lucky...
I had them swap a bad link in a president bracelet once and that's all they did to the watch. They even did it without charging me, probably wouldn't get that lucky again... |

Sir, I am honoured to be in your presence. I just googled Tudor
![]() I was going to say "Just throw it over the side of the kayak and get another one." I'm thinking the dealer who sold you the watch would have a pretty good idea of who is safe and reliable to fix the Tudor |

Poor Vash..bought a Tudor. Now he will forever be wishing he'd stepped up to a rolex...kinda like the Cayman buyer wishing he'd gone 911.

Wrestled with that decision with my Tudor Prince Chronograph (inherited from my dad). Sent it to a highly reviewed independent by several regulars in TRF (The Rolex Forum). Well…it’s been there 3 months now and I keep hearing it 95% complete. Won’t share the name yet as I need to give him the benefit of the doubt. But, I’d suggest going with the RSC.

LA Watchwerks. Post a pic of the watch with the scratch. A good indy should be able to polish out most scratches. I used to used my Dremel and red rouge on my crystal.

If, down the road, you go with some sort of aftermarket solution for this, if they happen to open the case back, make sure to ask them not to leave any marks of them having been there.
Some independent watchmakers used to mark their work, kind of like “Kilroy was here.” |

Damnit! Caught myself watching watch review videos again.
I don't need a watch...my daily wear Hamilton is doing fine, have a 1950's art deco designed Lord Elgin for dressy. If the Hamilton dies, might look at an automatic in the lower price scale...around $2K. Teddy B. has a drop dead gorgeous girlfriend, by the way...not much need to watch beyond the opening here.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Ny_0hCcs9c
