The best meal in the world is a Chicago style Vienna beef hotdog, with all the proper condiments... I grew up on those... Didn't hurt me!
Second might be an Italian Beef...

I clicked through all the links to find the report. It's basically some geek's [biased] model output of what the best and worst foods are, primarily based on the very weak risk associated with such foods using the usual epidemiological evidence. These types of food frequency studies have been debunked over and over and are the worst type of scientific evidence, but the media loves them as one can craft all sorts of scary and sciencey sounding narratives from the results.
It should be noted that this study also incorporated a sustainability factor for food sources, because everyone agrees that cows cause global warming and should thus be eliminated. There was no "analysis" of whether eating plain hotdogs would shorten your life or whether perhaps it was the bun that was the killer. There was no randomized controlled test of any food consumption. I won't call a hot dog health food, but this study is garbage. The science is settled. Long live the science. |

Seriously, is there anything better than, "Chicago style Vienna beef hotdog, with all the proper condiments"? No. 36 minutes per hot dog? It is apparent I was going to live to be 125 years-old. Oops.

A nice grilled Nathans with brown mustard, and kraut.... Or a Sabretts, or Hebrew National...
Sometimes a street corner cart dog... a "DWD" ( dirty water dog ) with a steamed bun, mustard and onion sauce.. The farts.... I should be pushin u the daisies according to that study
