Nine years and I paid about a hundred for it new. I can't complain.

It's charged up...powered it up and entered my google account name and password.
10 seconds later...all my favorites, bookmarks, and other info are all on this computer now. They make it easy.
Need to get a better wireless mouse...this one is too herky jerky. :)

another quick question: After the initial set-up, I received this notice in my email......
Smart Lock is turned on

Why would I want this? And are there any drawbacks to leaving it on?

Goodwill (10 miles away) will take it...but only if you prove that it works.
