2019 Ford f150 tail light

My friends f150 tail light filled with water. Trying to find replacement with blind spot sensor. Are the tail lights all LSD. He is getting tripped up on that question.
Thanks

Here's a link. Looks like a few people had it replaced under warranty...

Thanks, the exact problem he had. He was on the highway and noticed his side blind spot warning light didn’t trigger. Got home, full of water. Unfortunately he tried to take off to get water out and cracked lense voiding the warranty. Ford wants 2200 to fix. I am just trying to help him source the right tail light. Either way, I guess he has to go back to Ford because some computer has to reset. Ugh.
Trying to minimize his pain.

If it's $2200 it's probably the $850 LED light. I tried linking it but Pelican (understandably) edits out the website name if it's auto parts related.

The lights are easy to replace,Here's a video. Car ID has replacement lights, just search and click on the "product options" button and you'll see the different offerings (and the huge price difference) for LED.

Two thousand, two hundred dollars for a taillight for the most common vehicle sold on the road today.

We're on a road to nowhere.

Most of my daily drivers cost less than that...

I don't get it. Carry on.

It’s just if you get the one with the blind spot monitoring sensor integrated into the light. I’m sure the regular taillights are cheaper, and as the trucks are out longer they will be available aftermarket.

^^ True, but this is just a symptom of cars that are (IMO) ridiculously overstocked with gadgets.

I guess I'm in the minority, but I have zero interest in most of that 'crap'.

The LED tail light runs $850. Regular tail lights are $212 for driver and $126 for passenger. With that said it seems they are still charging over $1k for install.

Ha...

I bought a set of headlights and tail lights for my good old faithful E250 van for 63 dollars shipped.....

Keeping her on the road forever...Not buying modern over complicated new stuff.
