If there is a cooler picture, I'll need directions to it.

We plan on two months or so towing a version of your trailer, going places I have wanted to spend more than a day or two in. The UP and upper Midwest is an area I haven't been to since I was a child.

Thanks as well mjohnson.

I did not mean this as a negative. You are way outside the norm in the Dallas area. It is strange.

Houston has the Guff of Mexico to temper. You guys got nothing.

^^^

100 currently, with heat/humidity index of 108 - forcast to still be in the 90s after midnight tonight. More of the same for the coming days. Burn ass!

javadog 09-04-2021 12:04 PM

I think that heat index might be just a wee bit high.

Rawknees'Turbo 09-04-2021 12:19 PM

Now shows index to be 105 on Weather Underground (don't know how accurate WU is though).

javadog 09-04-2021 12:26 PM

What zip?

Everything I’m seeing is less than that.

javadog 09-04-2021 12:48 PM

I just checked the weather underground site and it shows is 1° cooler on the air temp and 5° warmer on the way heat index than the national weather service in my area.

I think their heat index values are out of whack.

The weather channel values are always a couple degrees warmer for the air temp than the national weather service, also.

I just checked the weather channel heat index and it’s a whopping 9° higher than the national weather service.

javadog 09-04-2021 12:56 PM

So, just for ****s and giggles I calculated the heat index for all three sources using the air temp, dewpoint and humidity numbers they show. National weather service was right on the money, weather underground and the weather channel are way off.

I’m surprised, you e would think that would be pretty easy to get right.

What I'm picking up is that Ronnie is pretty comfortable.

Some might say a little chilly, even.

Javadog, zip is 76133. Very interesting about the inconsistencies between weather info sources.

Bobasaurous, I was plenty comphy today as I spent most of the day at home, basking in a combined 5 tons of glorious a/c (3 ton central air along with a 2 ton Mitsubishi mini-split in the part of the house I use the most . . . let me tell you that that thing rocks out with its c**k out :D).

Wow, if you don't bring it with you then you don't have it. Flatty like!
