Does anyone know if you can use a fire stick on a laptop?

Should be able to. I had to plug it in and select "mirroring" for a second monitor (in display settings) to get it to work correctly

Do you need a separate stick for the computer? I have a stick for the TV and a Prime subscription.

I just use the same one and plug it into whatever I'm using. Usually only use it on my laptop when travelling
