Talk about being OCD

My 60,000 mile service was coming due for my Cayman, so I made an appointment a few weeks ago, for this last Wednesday.

We had an autocross day and a PCA driver's skills day the weekend prior.

I arrived about 20 yards after it clicked over. :D

Ha ha! That’s awesome. Wonder if they’ve ever seen that before?

I wonder if someone other than the tech. will notice.... or the tech. tries to type the mileage in and the computer won't take it because it assumes the tech. is cheating.

One time I was a mile or two short and drove around a bit to do that.

Mine would have happened at about 60,371 miles.

Back when I bought my 1974 914 2.0 it had a first service at 600 miles. Oil change for trans and engine.

I picked up the 914 on Friday at noon, returned it Monday at 8:00 AM with 601 miles.

I was young, the weather was perfect and I drove it! Damn it was a fun car.

"/r/Just rolled into the shop" forum on Reddit has had a few posts where this occurred for several different occasions of oil changes, etc.

That is neat though!

There always have been, since the first cavemen. They will always will be. So what?

If he did not get his car serviced would it make one single starving person think, hey I feel better?
