I need more gumption. This is very, very cool.

The guy that they discuss in the article that built the wooden car is pretty impressive too. The car's body is woven wood that was laid up like carbon fiber.

Or there's that guy that built the 1:8 scale Ferrari that ran. He built the bulbs, gauges, tires, etc.... It was super cool, but it just sat there.
This one may not be 100% accurate or have all of the cache of an original, but I'll bet it's an absolute hoot to drive. I'd give a small body part to have something like this.

The 'Busa motor sounds very appropriate. What a fabulous project.

Yep, a 550 like the Beck or a Lotus/Caterham 7 are VERY high on my list of toys to acquire when I've got a bunch of disposable cash.

Right! And if you ever got bored with the HP, a turbo could be added that would probably put it at GP Ferrari HP levels.

I wish there was a longer article with more info and more video. I don't do IG, so I haven't pursued the story via that venue.

I saw it at a car show this summer, looked very good. Excellent fit and finish but I never got to see under the skin.
Just retrieved this picture from my deleted folder.
