Well that hurts 😁

Seahawk 10-02-2021 10:07 AM

I’ll take it if it is still available.

You like stealing things don't U?

svandamme 10-02-2021 11:24 AM

can you find ammo for it?

Joe Bob 10-02-2021 11:40 AM

for a .22? $.10 a round. cheap as dirt.

As the price, I'm just passing it on....

BTW.....SOLD....

Seahawk 10-02-2021 12:49 PM

Thanks, JB.

PayPal sent.

I have owned a MKII Ruger Bull Barrel Target since 1984. Just simply a great pistol.

My Daughter, however, fell in love with it and uses it for fun and home defense. Please no discussion on the value of a .22 for HD. All my SEAL buddies are as one: .22 works.

My plan is to get my 1984 back and give this to her all nice and legal like.

Thanks, JB!

I was waiting in a parking lot for my DV buddy to finish shopping...I never go in, surf the net like a teenager.

Hawk I hope it serves your daughter well . I bought that spoon when I lived in Orlando at a spoon show . Shortly after we moved to Georgia so I never used it . Then I went through a phase of converting from semi to revolver and sold the Ruger to Joe Bob along with a 40 . That 22 has some travel miles but truly never fired . Have fun with it and JB is a good guy to deal with .

Ok, that is cool, I didn’t know.

When I talked to Mike the first time I was driving home...I missed any reference. The LC is, great ride, noisy like any 90’s SUV.

Mike and I talked for 30 minutes after I got home. If he stays in Georgia I predict mirth between us.

Rot 911 10-02-2021 02:31 PM

I have the same pistol. My favorite one for target shooting.

gumby 10-02-2021 02:49 PM

Ruger's make a very metaliac sound when the slide cycles, kinda neat
They do shoot well

HardDrive 10-02-2021 02:56 PM

Dang it. Too late.

Bill Douglas 10-02-2021 11:44 PM

Ah, what a great combination. the fun of a pistol and the cheapness of .22 ammo.

NutmegCarrera 10-03-2021 05:57 AM

Nice piece!

Put a Volquartsen accurizing kit into it. Makes it shoot even nicer.

Thanks! I had no idea. I am going to have to amend my recent post in JYL's thread:cool:

Son of a *****, I got to this thread too late. Paul, have fun with that plinker. Very cool.

Joe Bob 10-03-2021 06:58 AM

Maybe Paul can put it up for bid?

Cabela sells them for around $500

I just got me a Georgia Bulldog cap. Gotta jump on the bandwagon.

Accurizing kit shown here for reference.
This example went into a MKII Bull Barrel Government model.

Note: If having failure to eject (stovepipe) failures - a common issue is that the ‘lips’ of the magazine actually sit too high and cause things to drag and hang up.

I had my gun back and forth to Ruger when it was new - and looked all over the place. Found an obscure posting on a forum somewhere (for the shooting equivalent of pelicans) and they explained this.

10 minutes with a Dremel tool, and things became much, much better.

Lots of fun to shoot these cool pistols.
