Yankees vs Red Sox
 

Anybody else going to watch the game?

Kind of a shame one of the teams has to go home after they loose.


I know, I'm a simpleton and am easily entertained by a good ball game.
What can I say?

Watched it, just to see the Yankees lose

Lady friend watched it with her Dad who just turned 90. HUGE Red Sox fans. He grew up in Mass. and many of the greats, including Ted Williams, took up residence in his family's home while they were players. So he has childhood memories of growing up with pro baseball players. I asked him one day how that went and he said "It was great as long as they were in town, but when they left to go play somewhere else their wives/girlfriends were still at his house and he didn't care for that too much"!

I enjoyed watching the game.
Now to see if the Dodger's game will be blacked out here in LA or not.
Should be a good pitcher's duel tonight.

As a life long Cubs fan, I can't be bothered with this foolishness.

I was 10 years old in 63 when my father bought this book for me.
