The car flipper dude might be a nice guy but he seems to make Mike Tyson level financial decisions.

A friend of my wife took me for a spin in his new vet. Had track package etc.
He pulls onto the road and gives her for a second or 2.
Car becomes very unsettled and for a moment I though we were going into the lake.
He had no idea!
During the ride I had to give him all kinds of advice as he has never had a high horsepower car and knew nothing.
First point was don't hit the throttle unless the wheels are pointed straight!

Basically, nailed the throttle and lost it while doing a burn out and slid into a grassy ditch (no curb). He's lucky he hadn't gained much speed. He has also bought a new Ram TRX this past summer. Not great. No pics as the car is inside the shop and I didn't have the heart to ask him if he had any to share.

Sounds like he earned himself an expensive lesson.

I have one vehicle that might be a "look at me" and its my 1970 BMW R50/5

once in a while it gets looks and when I stop at place like Newcombs Ranch occasionally people will stroll over to check it out, which is appreciated

I could post a 0-60 time but I would need a calendar.

Taking satisfaction in legitimate possessions isn’t necessarily about attention seeking…it can be entirely about healthy appreciation. Of course, appreciation gets to be a tough sell when beating the sand out of something results in you and your buddy sliding along upside down in a ditch.
