Anybody Looking for a nice driver?

At the risk of offending Stijn, a nice looking '08 Bullitt Mustang advertisted on IMBOC.

Warning: I haven't seen this car...

Looks like a nice car. Do the rear lower control arms help?

Evidently..reduces axle twist hop, may help in the twisties. I toyed with the idea of suspension mods but decided to remain stock. The LCA replacements are a pretty standard upgrade. Bullitts came from the factory with different springs, shocks, and a 3:73 limited slip...lower ratio than standard. This car is pretty mild on the suspension mods, which is good if one plans to mostly drive on public roads. From the pics. this appears standard ride height.

(edit) The aftermarket is huge for these cars. Ford Racing division offers different suspension kits, as do many others.

Garage
I think I could easily talk my wife into one of these, if they came in an automatic. She likes 'em and I could live with it too.

No automatic Bullitts...the '08-'09 years came only with a Tremec 5 speed. But coulda been worse...from what I've been reading, avoid used newer Mustangs with the Getrag
(chinese made) manual trans. Both the 4.6 modular V-8 and the tremec 5 speed of the '09-'09 Bullitts have a bulletproof reputation.

As I said in the link..I'm reluctant to sell mine because of this and other reasons, despite my now wonky clutch foot. Seriously, mine has been a zero problems car for me. Nothing more than by the book service and the usual replacement items..battery, tires, wipers. 32,000 miles and 12 plus years.
