I surrender!

Soil is very moist...this guy made a trail all the way to the front paver walk from a half acre away.
Gray colored and fat...looks old. He tripped the trap a few minutes age. :)

That one looks like meals were not a problem !

What kind of trap is that?

I'm also in west Michigan and can not find a trap that works here. The plunger types just jump out of the 'soil' (actually sand) and the Victor Out oSight ones don't go off because the sand just glides around the lever and they don't close.

They work great. I use three of them sometimes to make sure that I get one of their active tunnels.
Just step down the raised tunnel...put the trap in by hand and step on it to spread the jaws. When they trip it...just pull the trap out of the ground by hand and it's always in there.
The worst part is getting the mole out of the trap. The jaws are very strong.

Here's the same trap.

We've got a trap around here that kills stoats/ferrets/Wessels. They have them above the ground a bit up a tree and basically it's a bait loaded massive capacitor that gives them a huge blast when they get near the bait. When the trappers are lucky there are a number of dead stoats/ferrets/Wessels on the round under the trap.

How cruel can you be? Do you find joy
... glee in your heart at killing one of Gods little creatures? You picture is a trophy that belies your sense of triumph or is it gloating. Maybe you should ask Jesus for forgivness for being so Barbaric.

Rats may be one of God's little creatures but I'll kill a rat at every opportunity. Am I going g to Hell now? Uh oh, there're probably rats down there
