Yeah, that was a bit harsh, I admit. Thing is there are cultural differences. I grew up in SoCal and I can clearly remember the summer afternoons in the 50's when if you took a dep breath, you started to cough and it hurt. The air was that bad. And it was brown — so brown that from a tall building you couldn't see L.A. City Hall which you easily could after rain.
Well, it don't rain no more and the air is brown. CA is only trying, that's all. |

The citizens of California ought to bring a prop requiring the state to maintain all residential lawns, and when passed, maybe they will recognize what a bad idea this ban really is.
If I was being taxed to death the way California residents are, I'd ask them to wash my car too, water is a precious good. It's ridiculous what the good people of California have to put up with.
