Anyone recognize this car?

Saw it in a TV commercial today. The upper windshield frame looks like it could be the front edge of a removable hardtop.

Tried Google image search...no hits.

Air-cooled boxer engine too, if not mistaken.

Given all the other imagery in that commercial, my vote is from Blackbird, or something similar. The heart shaped interchange, for example.

We had a white Borgward Isabella wagon when I was in grade school. Seemed okay, but it blew a head gasket on a vacation.

I love that car! I did LOL when he said, "Prius? I think I'll walk."

It's an Isabella 2-door sedan with the top cut off. There was an Isabella convertible, but it was based on the coupe, which had a different, and prettier, body.
