Started warrior last night.... kind of stilted acting, I haven't decided how far into it I'll be going yet.

Bad Monkey - Vince vaughn as a "Detective" in the keys..Different story telling, kinda funny slant without being a comedy, 3rd person narration, it's different... VV is still somewhat irritating (talking too much, always) but they are making fun on that on the show also, it's actually pretty good so far..

Help! I'm really freaking out here.

MeTV just started running Emergency! in the afternoons. In the episode I'm watching, the two paramedics are talking about watching an episode of Adam-12. Yet in other episodes, the two cops from Adam-12 appear on Emergency!, and the paramedics appear in an episode of Adam-12.

I don't know what is real anymore. Am I on TV? Is this real?

On another note, we kept MAX just so the wife could watch the new Salem's Lot. I didn't think much of it, and even at their "please don't leave" $3.99 / month rate, I don't see a reason to renew. Can't get into Penguin. Anything I'm missing? I've got about a week before the month runs out.

I never watched the series "Lost" when it originally aired.

But now I have the entire series on DVD...and am about 15 episodes in.

Very well done and have enjoyed having it as an alternative to what's on TV at any particular moment.

I had also never watched Lost when it originally aired. Started watching it on
Netflix a few weeks ago. I'm into the 2nd season and like it as well. Good show.

I'm giving a shot out for Griselda on Netflix. Sofia Vergara stars. I suspect that's enough to hold y'all's attention, but I'm mesmerized with the suspense and action. My only issue with the series? The Spanish is spoken a little too fast for me, and the cinematography distracts me from the subtitles.

{Edit} I just realized they used a prosthetic nose and other makeup tricks to dull Sofia's stunning looks. I guess because the real Griselda Blanco wasn't exactly a beauty.

I’m not a big TV watcher, so it bothers me I’ve become addicted to a show. It’s been on the air since 2008 and in it’s 18th season, and I’ve only just begun watching it.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murdoch_Mysteries

The Murdoch Mysteries is set in turn of the century Toronto Canada. The production value is very good, I love the attention to detail in the period costumes and technology.

The producers/writers do a great job incorporating events and notable people of the time into the storyline. The Great Toronto Fire of 1904, the 1904 Olympics, Mark Twain, Thomas Edison, Nikolai Tesla, and Guglielmo Marconi to name a few.

Well written, and acted it is nice to get a flavor of life in Canada 125 years ago.

Particularly enjoyable is the lead character Detective William Murdoch who is an inventor on the side and uses period correct technology to create modern technology. For example the “Weaponized Capacitor” which was a taser gun using 1900s technology.

Also using period correct technology built a lie detector.

Lots of action and plot twists, we are really enjoying this series.

Danger Close.

Aussies in 'Nam starring the guy from Vikings (sans super crazy eyes and normal looking)
Plot and action is much like We Were Soldiers, but some scenes are more intense imo...as it should be.

Things like rubber trees getting shredded and cut in half is akin to Gettysburg muskets.
Audiences don't understand a single tracer round whizzing close by is 1/5-1/10 the actual number of projectiles.
The 'enemy' group was far too stout and healthy with muscle for those times however. That's a modern problem.

Season 2 came out recently, and it's excellent as well. Only 6 episodes, but it builds up steam the whole way to a heck of an ending. Such amazing writing and cast. Season 3 has been approved. On Netflix.

Deep into the 3rd season myself now. Addicting!

So many flashbacks, it's insane!

And plot twists and turns.

That John Locke guy is an odd one......

Kate......hubba hubba!

The Agency premieres 11/29, but just the first two episodes. Great cast- Michael Fassbender, Richard Gere, Jeffrey Wright and others.

I hope this one is better than the Bruce Willis version.

This is really good. So far, only the first 5 episodes (of 10) have been released on Peacock.
