Maybe 20-25 so far. Including one couple walking around with a 4-month old. Some people hand out adult treats, we don't. We've got about 90 minutes left of official trick-or-treat time, we're about 1/2 the level of 2019.

Has anyone seen the Halloween episode of 'Everyone Loves Raymond'?
Funny as hell. Frank thinks he is giving out colorful wrapped candies to the kids...when they are actually Raymonds cheap condoms that he just bought for that evening.

We just got mobbed. Last year? Crickets. This year looked like something out of the movie ET.
Fortunately the candy just held out. Barely. Neighbors across the street playing "I want candy" on radio. I got guitar and started playing same on porch. Fun times. When scary kids showed up, I'd play psycho killer.... Last edited by LEAKYSEALS951; 10-31-2021 at 03:42 PM.. |

^^^ What's your typical give-out for each kid?
I remember when I was that age....the worst treats were apples..or some gave a few pennies instead of candy.

When I was younger we lived in town. My mom made doughnuts to hand out on Halloween. She'd start at 7 a.m and we'd powder and bag before trick or treat started. We'd be out of doughnuts within an hour. My mom and my grandma Gordon were both known as "the doughnut lady". Good memories.
When I worked at a local autobody shop, a guy who worked there would give a me Coors quart for a doughnut on Halloween. Again, good memories. The most fun was busting the neighbors who had already come through once and were trying to get another doughnut.

You'd think fixing it would have made him happy. OH NO!!! We are on his s$%^ list! |
