Yard art, wind spinners, and outdoor fun and entertainment....

Took some videos of three of my wind spinners yesterday. I love them! Got them from Amazon - pretty reasonable. Used Gorilla glue to assemble.

Show us what you have!

I have one that has two spinners...both go in opposite directions.
I'll try to post a video tomorrow. No wind right now!

How did you add the audio??

The audio came from my outdoor speakers. The ones in front of my garage. I have two more pairs in other parts of my property so I can pipe the tunes out while working.

I have stereos that take a flash drive and just use those...very handy.....

Love to see your spinner when you get a chance...thanks, Steve!

Wife has lots of yard art out there.

Our windmill is currently buried by bushes/plants that have grown over it.

MrsWD takes care of the outdoor decorating with birdbaths and whatnot. She knows of my past.

At my old place I had some plastic flamingos roosting in a tree in front of the house. I also took a plastic deer fawn and cut it's mouth open and added some teeth and gums to give it a snarling wolf mouth. Wish I still had it. I think MrsWD had something to do with its disappearance.

At our new place I nailed a distressed-looking plastic woodpecker that I found in the dirt behind my barn on the side of a tree. It's great to hear visitors ask, "What's wrong with that woodpecker out there?"
There is also this stunning piece of art created by putting a bowling ball on top of a bird bath pedestal.

They were really popular for a while. I don't know why they fell out of favor. They came and went in tandem with the dressed-up geese.

Thanks, Peter.

I have some leftover metal from my re-roofing and at some point am going to try and make my own windmill.

Stay tuned......

Yeah - it's very unique!

I dated a girl that liked rust on decorative items.

I've never ever in my life heard anyone ever say something like that.

We went together a few times to this place: https://renningers.net/mt-dora/

She was a really good person and had the most beautiful green eyes.

She also had a 993 cab and a track car which didn't hurt!

So now when I see anything in a decorative nature with rust on it I look at it in a completely different way than probably most others. That was a gift she gave me....
