I'm no Brady fan but...

I think he has become a better man since leaving NE, and Belichek !

I agree 100%, that was a class move.

How can anyone who knows which end of a football the stitches are on not be a fan of Brady's? At this point, every time he steps on the field he's breaking several all-time records, most of which he already owns!

I watch him just to say down the road that I watched him break records that may stand forever.

Even the receivers become better receivers when he throws the ball. Yesterday he threw a quick out to the left when the receiver was only 1/2 way thru running his pattern. The receivers know they had better be where the pattern tells them to be because they have enormous confidence in Brady's ability to put the ball there. In addition, if they don't catch the ball, more often than not its their fault (ok, a liittle hyperbole there) but still.

I get the Brady fatigue to point, but you are so correct: astonishing level of play, mostly from the neck up.

Can you imagine being the opposing teams defensive coordinator?

If given the time to get the pass off....the ball is almost always right in the bread-basket.
His offensive line plays like he does...to win on every play.

Plus, there's the motivator that no one wants to be the guy who gave up the sack that ended Tom Brady's career.

Or the guy who put the hit on him.

Athletes who cater to the kids have a place in my heart. When I was in the Kessler Rehab hospital players from the NJ Devils came in every week to visit the kids. YUGE smiles on the kids and sometimes a furtive tear from the athletes.

I lost my interest in football a long time ago but I do admire athletes who have mastered their sport. Brady is one of them. I was channel surfing Sunday and came across the Tampa/Chicago game. It was very early in the 1st quarter and Tampa had the ball. I watched a series of plays where Brady just surgically picked apart the Bears. It 7 -0 and I moved on to watch something else - it was going to be a long day for the Bears..

He was good on SNL 16 years ago.

Erin Andrews interviewing Brady. The only thing he wishes to do in his playing career is...throw a 'Hail Mary'. He's never done it.

Old age must be gettin to him :)

2011 — Super Bowl XLVI – New York Giants vs. New England Patriots: After a touchdown run by Ahmad Bradshaw to make the score 21–17, in favor of the Giants, the New England Patriots received the ball with 59 seconds to play. After running a few plays, 4 seconds remained on the clock. The Patriots, at their own 49-yard line, elected to go for the Hail Mary. Tom Brady threw a pass deep into the end zone intended for tight end Aaron Hernandez. A mass of players jumped up for the ball, and the ball landed a yard in front of tight end Rob Gronkowski as time expired.

stevej37 11-01-2021 03:41 AM

^^^ Oh I bet he remembers that clearly! Prob reminds Gronk of it often.

I probably wrote his statement wrong....should have been 'complete' a Hail Mary!

cabmandone 11-01-2021 03:43 AM

^^^
That makes sense!

A great ending to this story....
