Engine Bay Detailing Advice
A friend of mine has an S2000 that has been parked by the beach for the past 15 years and under the hood has a lot of light surface corrosion. Would a steam clean take it off or maybe soda blasting? There is no red rust just that fluffy white aluminum corrosion. Thanks.

Surface oxidation is not going wash off. I think you would have remove it with abrasive or polish

Might try some dry ice blasting on a small area; that stuff does wonders for surface cleaning.

Dry ice. Not cheap.

Agreed, it’ll have to be blasted with dry ice to get that crap off.
