Yeah, they're probably better off calling the cops and waiting for them to handle a situation. I carry all the time, so it doesn't matter.

Bill Douglas 10-29-2021 09:24 PM

If you see a monster or a zombie, or a walking skeleton coming the other way please don't shoot, it's just some kid dressed up. It's called Halloween.

smadsen 10-29-2021 09:38 PM

Depends on the neighborhood!

Joe Bob 10-29-2021 09:42 PM

An armed society is a polite society....

varmint 10-29-2021 09:45 PM

Should I stop carrying a gun because it’s Halloween?

Of course. It's for the children. Let the cops handle it.

An Asian woman in a Black <strike>neighbor</strike>hood?

Heel n Toe 10-29-2021 10:34 PM

Being armed is smart because otherwise there could be bad guys going around robbing some kids of their candy at gunpoint. I say arm the kids, too... but with smaller caliber stuff.

I'd love to read a news story about a 10 year old boy protecting his sister's candy haul by putting a coupla rounds in a perp.

I don't know whether to put all this in green or not. :)

Kidnapping and sex slavery is still a thing.

When seconds count, the police are minutes away. 😂

That's a helluva trick to pull if your precious little Timmy doesn't get the treats he so rightfully deserves.

yellowperil 10-30-2021 05:38 AM

God bless America!

herr_oberst 10-30-2021 06:01 AM

If you dress up as Barney Fife, then by all means strap on a hog-leg.

cabmandone 10-30-2021 06:05 AM

Man I'm glad I don't have to worry about stuff like this.

Tobra 10-30-2021 06:11 AM

Nick, the world has gone to hell. Had a guy trying to get my daughter to go with him at a Chuckie Cheese one time. I would have been fine with shooting him instead of a punch in the throat. That was 30 years ago. I guess I would probably not have needed to shoot him, he was incapacitated. It would have taken longer to pull a piece than it did to stop him anyway

Kids stealing candy from each other, yeah, that is why

Por_sha911 10-30-2021 06:11 AM

Wow. I posted the video because I thought that those who carry will find in humorous.

Harrell is a sensible and very well respected person concerning proper safety, gun mechanics and handling, and general information.

I didn't expect the people who are against law abiding citizens having the ability to legally and safely protect themselves by carrying a weapon getting triggered (pardon the pun). You don't want to carry? No problem.

I enjoy his videos and do find this one humorous. I'm just sayin, I'm thankful I don't even have to think about whether or not I need to carry when taking my kids trick or treating.

And if anyone can point me to where I can purchase that jacket in a mid weight with a camo pattern, I'd greatly appreciate it.

I do feel genuinely bad if your kids have to live in an area so dangerous a gun is required to carry out trick or treating… maybe head to a better neighborhood for trick or treating.

Come by! Safe neighborhood and we got a permit from the city to close the street so we dont have to worry about cars on Halloween.

Rick Lee 10-30-2021 09:09 AM

I live in a very safe area because everyone has guns. Still doesn't stop the crazies once in a while. Last violent crime in my neighborhood was a guy who ran down a woman and her daughter walking to their mailbox, backed up to run over them again and then forward to run over them again. Total random murder by a crazy. Dead woman's husband was a sheriff's deputy and home at the time, got to the scene seconds after it was all over.

It seems like every place I have ever needed a gun did not previously seem like a place I would need a gun (or I would not have been there to start with).

I would definitely carry a gun in your neighborhood.
