Maybe this thread is not Parfy enough to be moved but I can imagine it going there with a few well aimed replies so I certainly see where Seahawk is coming from.

No problem with mods making a discretionary decision one in while.
You can’t please everybody all of the time.
Anyway, thanks for stepping up, both of you.

I’d pay for that if there is an educational aspect.
If you are a gore fetisjist and field dress them buck-naked, I’m out. :D

I could pull out the liver, throw it at you, and yell "There's the liver". You'd learn what a deer liver looks like and how to dodge one that's flying at you. I could double my fee!

Nekkid field dressing would naturally be another fee.

Honestly, I saw nothing political when I posted this...only the ghoulish and sick nature of those involved.

But if you've got to move it...by all means, have at it.

As a hunter I am alway eager to learn and field dressing larger game is a skill I have not mastered yet.
Neither is dodging incoming liver :D

I’ll probably take a course in field dressing game before I go hunting for it.
It does require some skill and knowledge.

Sorry for the off topic deviation.
Back on track!

My fathers favorite meal...was always 'liver and onions'
He passed away 20 years ago and I still think of that everytime liver is mentioned.

I've had it a few times...just can't like it!
(maybe better with fava beans)

If I knew bodies were worth something I'd have sold my father for $20. OK, I'll accept $10.

Bit late now I suppose. The worms would have got the best of him.

The story has nothing to do with COVID (except extremely incidentally) or politics.

Same with my pops. Along with brains and eggs.

This topic seems weird enough to get even more weird in parf.

If anyone in the LA area is interested in watching an autopsy I can hook you up with my buddy Vidal (El Muerto) from 1-800-AUTOPSY.

Any chance of him performing an autopsy on a guy down the road from me. He's been really annoying recently.

VINMAN 11-05-2021 03:27 PM

Every once in awhile I'll get someone asking me If they can come to my office to watch an autopsy. Wish I could, I'd start charging them! Can set up an autopsy view with lunch coffee and cake.

I do not see how this is a PARF topic.

Unless there was some post or message I missed Paul.

removed because apparently Seahawk is a moderator (not in signature nor under name)

cabmandone 11-05-2021 04:33 PM

Great move calling out a mod Joe. Pure Brilliance!

Don't like what he said? Step right up and volunteer to become a moderator. We're trying to make this place better.

Por_sha911 11-05-2021 04:39 PM

OK, post removed.
One question: how was I supposed to know that Seahawk is a mod?
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1636159485.jpg

This is not a callout but a sincere question.

One question: where am I supposed to know that Seahawk is a mod?

Does it really matter? Is insulting someone or being condescending acceptable as long as they aren't a mod?
This forum is going to have very active moderators going forward. Act accordingly.

Por_sha911 11-05-2021 04:50 PM

I asked only because your warning was specifically stating I called out a mod.
I am fine with PPOT being a kinder, gentler place and hopefully the same rules apply to all folks. I will try to behave.

All good. Thanks for editing.

cabmandone 11-05-2021 05:10 PM

He is a moderator. We just haven't gotten our full 'super powers' yet. :)
Paul and I volunteered to become moderators and were accepted by the admins. I'd show you if I could think of a way how, but there's a "mod only" section that you can't see on your screen when you log in. I see that and so does Paul.
