I’m going to get one for the next RV we get. AirTags are cool, but they will notify they thief potentially and I don’t want them knowing that they should be digging for a tracker.

cell service is the first thing they'll jam.

doesn't matter if they cannot jam GPS, because GPS on it's own can't alert anyone.
But the cell service will, so that's the first thing they jam, and it's very effective to jam it.

I think there is a 12-24 hour lag when an AirTag will notify users they are being tracked which should be enough time to hopefully locate your car. At $30 pop, it’s worth giving a try while trying to find the perfect solution.

I used to just pull the fuel pump relays on my G series 911's. Nor sure what to do on my 991.2 though.

That blows. Didn’t you install some video cameras a while back?

Wayback in the 1980s, Chuck Stoddard came up with a relay arrangement for the fuel pump relay that would allow a vehicle to be started, then it would run for a short period of time and die. Just long enough for the thief to get underway and have it crap out on him, in traffic. The mod is described in one of the upfixen der Porsche books from PCA, I can’t remember which one, and is designed for a 911 but the concept would work for other things.

My old ignition was that way. Hit the secret key or it would run long enough to get you on the street, then it would start missing, then completely. die.
