"No Time To Die" (no spoilers please)
I think it deserves its own thread in OT.
- There's also this one in PARF if you feel inclined: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/off-topic-politics-religion/1034670-i-have-seen-my-last-bond-film.html Utterly fantastic and IMO Daniel Graig's best Bond film! It's already made more than $700,000,000! https://www.forbes.com/sites/scottmendelson/2021/11/14/box-office-no-time-to-die-700m-james-bond-daniel-craig/ <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/N_gD9-Oa0fg" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> |
It looks action packed, i'll probably watch it, but at home (not in theater).
|
Very good movie. I wish there was more scenes in that Triumph Scrambler though.
|
I really liked the forest chase scene... Everything was turned up to 11!
|
end is a puzzler......
|
A good movie, but certainly not a great movie.
|
i cant believe they let the dog die!
|
serioiusly, i have not seen the movie yet..so i just made up the dog part.

Saw it at the theater with a good friend, we see all Bond and Tarantino movies together as soon as they come out. Looking forward to seeing it streaming as soon as it's available with the rest of the family. I'd say its a good movie, they've allowed in much more humor than the early Craig movies, but it's no slap dash Moore movie, although they have their palace and some of them such as Live and Let Die were excellent. I'd say it was good, but not Skyfall good, which has to be in consideration as one of the best 007 flicks. I think it was a good send off, and a great way to prime the series for a re-boot. Worth seeing.
I can't imagine what the cesspool of PARF has to complain about with a Bond movie, are they tired of bashing liberals and need something else to sling the vitriol at? |
What? Not everyting you post here is nothing but the truth, the whole truth? You're under oath, you know.

i really enjoyed it.
i liked a return of a little of the camp. like not a ton of camp, but just enough to remember that bond is supposed to be entertainment, not just self flagellation. my personal favorite scene was with the new girl, who seems super inexperienced/nervous, and then turns out to be amazing. it was glorious. |
Every Craig Bond movie was progressively worse, and this one no exception.
While it was hard to imagine he could screw up more then in Skyfall, where he failed his mission twice (initial mission and then failed to protect M), in this one he did screw up even more. Total failure to be a 007 and even bigger failure at being Bond. |
I’ve emailed my availability to Barbara Broccoli.
|
The "new" 007 in a Jaguar was my spit out the drink moment.

Do you remember Bond slapping that girl on the fanny and sending her on her way? Times change ;) (From Goldfinger) <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/UpGFESbLMKU" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> |
