Cool Honda Commercial

Shows all their products over the years...including their jet.
At the :50 mark it shows the new Civic.

Honda is a very cool company, have enjoyed many happy years working for them

This is one of my all time favourite ads

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NrQoof1F2cQ

The aspect of their business I admire the most is Honda has more racing genes in their DNA than probably any other company on the planet

They go racing because it's difficult, they use racing as a fast track learning experience for their engineers, this knowledge is then fed back into improving their consumer products, any marketing value is a secondary benefit

In a small way I've helped design a few Honda powered race cars and mentored a few young Japanese engineers

Do you work for Honda?

^^^ That is very remarkable! (Soichiro)
I think back to when I owned my 1st Honda 90....he hadn't even started building cars yet.
He certainly has been responsible for a lot of cool vehicles and other things.

I once had a Honda Urban Express and it was a fun little motorcycle to putt around on. When my daughter turned 16 we bought her a 2012 Honda Civic. The car was a couple of years old and was very well taken care of. She is 22 now, still driving the Civic and loves it. That has been the best car I have ever purchased. I recently had a wheel bearing replaced and put the 2nd set of tires on it. That wheel bearing has been the only thing that has needed to be replaced on this car.
Great little car!!! My daughter named it Delilah.

^^^ Plus..the great gas mileage!

My 98 Prelude, which I bought new, has 115K miles and the original brake pads all around.
It's a 5 speed, which helps, but the last time I checked them...lots of miles left.

That new Honda commercial is brilliant as is the one posted by Captain Ahab.

I have tremendous respect for them as a car company, when you consider they were a small boutique manufacturer that evolved successfully but yet their peers like Suzuki, Daihatsu and Isuzu could not get there (in the US, Canada and Europe).
