Your radio is permanently tuned to a conservative talk radio station. I’ve been listening to Erick Erickson out of Atlanta.

I'm 68 and my fav station is 27 on sirius xm.
Normally Deep Tracks....but for a few weeks now it's Neal Young music.

66 here, Classic Vinyl (26) on Sirius.

Sound quality has something to do with it but I'm hooked on talk radio too.

Okay, I'll admit it: this time of year my radio is locked onto the local FM station that's all Christmas music all the time.

That said, it never ceases to amaze me how absolutely dreadfully bad some of it is.

You know you're old when you can't stand anyone 20 years younger than you, but like most people that are older.

...when the tinnitus is so bad listening to the radio only makes it hurt.

You know you are old when you see a thread on SSA & COLA and not only know what they are talking about, but feel a need to check it out.

You know when you are old and see a thread entitled "recliners" and your first thought is "ahhhh..... recliners...".

Btw, my favorite station is Sirius # 67 Real Jazz.

I do listen to others (Tom Petty Radio #31, Deep Tracks #27, Symphony Hall #76, and more) but find myself always returning to that which helps me "mellow".

Talk Radio & cable TV "news", especially on the conservative side, appear to have business plans that focuses on holding listeners by making them scared and angry. To put my opinion of that in age-appropriate period vernacular: "Too much harshing my mellow, man..."

You know you're old when you:
- stop searching for and listening to new music
- complain about everything
- don't want to learn new things
- think younger people are lazy, amoral, ignorant, etc etc
