On the off chance...xk120?

I have a buddy who wants a better xk120. No coupes. Not a fan of the spats either.

Best would be an older restoration that isn’t so perfect it can’t be driven. Aluminum bodied ones are out of the budget.

Silver is the most preferred color, but may look at other colors.

He / I did a pretty extensive internet search on this. Some lovely cars but nothing “clicked.” Anyone got an Uncle with an old ragtop?

(I guess I should have specified I am referring to a 1950’s Jaguar, if you are not a British car geek)

^^^Thanks for the heads up. I saw this. My buddy has a nicer one currently. But most of his cars are VERY nice. He is looking for a car at or a touch below show level.

Thank you for all the views. Might not be the right crowd. But then again, it might be.

Garage
I love those things.

I would put XKE brakes on the front and drive the living hell out of it

Sorry, mine's an XK140 coupe...white, a Lesney #32. My mom put it atop the 16th birthday cake she made for me. I found it when cleaning out her home after she died...still has some cake frosting inside it's wheels.

I'd never sell it...
