Have you had any luck finding Covid test kits or getting walk in testing?

I used my last test kit a week ago and I need to retest everyone in the house again. We might have gotten exposed on Christmas Eve. One of our guests have been sick and tested positive today. None of us here at home have symptoms but CDC says we should test five days after exposure regardless. Anyway, no test kits available and no more walk ins until Monday unless I go to the hospital. I wouldn’t even worry about testing except that the CDC recommended it.

There’s an urgent care near me that’s doing nothing but testing. Line was wrapped around the building when I drove by earlier today.

I have no tests and I don’t plan on being tested anytime soon.

I don't think they counted on 90% positivity rates.

IDK about these but my CVS is sold out.

I got tested today, walk up, in a gas station parking lot.

I arrived 30 minutes before they opened and they were already doing tests. Took me 2.5 hours to get through the line. Both a 5 minute test and a PCR test, 5 minute test said negative.

I bought two test kits about a week & a half to two weeks ago. I decided to get them before the big rush started. Even then the first drug store I stopped at was sold out. The second one had them.

I bought 3 kits of two tests through the Amazon link. Earliest delivery is three weeks from now. Oh well.

Do you feel sick?

Why are you testing?

I'm getting the On/Go I ordered 12/25 from Walmart online today and the Lucira PCR I ordered 12/25 on Amazon will arrive today as well vs the predicted 1/6-1/8.

It seems the urgent care near us always has a full parking lot.

Funny though someone gave my wife and me a two pack self test kit on Monday. We tested negative. We all including the person who gave us th kit, concenred about catching covid proptly went out and made the rounds to the local watering holes.

???

Ask the store employees when they get restocked and show up then. I scored some tests last night when I saw that the local CVS was restocking. The people at a Target I went to said they get stock every 2 days but they had already run out. He said to check site for inventory.

drive through pharmacy, do the test in your car

Why is anyone testing? $$$ Someone is going to make $10,000 on me in the next 12 months

I hear you brother.

I agree with you

-To appease family and friends
-To establish a legal baseline of indemnification

Other than that, there might be little reason to.
The test kits themselves, shoved deep into the vast cranial cavity, might be a suspected cause.

We bought about 10 home kits a couple of weeks ago before the gold rush.

Around here, there are several testing sites and immediate cares that offer online scheduling. We have had a couple of exposures over the last few months, including my wife a few weeks ago. I've been able to schedule a time within 1 day, drive up, wait in line less than 5 minutes and get my results in 8-12 hours.

Maybe won't be that long...my kits arrived much sooner than originally estimated by Amazon.

I bought the iHealth kit because it’s the same brand that my kid’s school uses.
