Do you think we're ever going to see a full hockey season again?

Well, I'm starting to feel like all Santa is bringing me is a lump of coal and 5 minutes in the penalty box.

First, the games start getting postponed.
Then the NHL drops out of the Winter Olympics.
Now I just read that the WJC has been cancelled.

I did watch the Tampa/Habs game and it was actually a good one. I figured the Habs would get decimated but they actually played strong and (spoiler alert).

I dunno, Joe, but at least games look like they are starting up again now. During Christmas it didn't bother me, as my family would prefer to gather round and watch other great TV programming and not hockey. You know, like Hallmark holiday romance movies. But now that Christmas is over and family has gone home it's hockey time.

The Olympics don't really bother me because, you know, China. I'd kind of prefer we not be there at all.

WJC getting cancelled sucks. I never really have time to watch it, but still feel bad for those players trying to shine on that stage.



Ok, I admit it: the Hallmark movies are actually my thing....

The game last night has a few of AHL call up first timers on the Habs side. One of them took home a puck with tape wrapped around it and the date written on it.
