Later model Audi service manuals?
Does anybody have any guidance as to the best source for late-model Audi service manuals and TSB's? I've got a 2016 Q3 that's coming off warranty and I guess I gotta figure this thing out...
(Yes - I know - Stupid to own one without a warranty...) I've found the erWin site for Audi USA - Doesn't seem friendly at all and quite expensive. Alternatives? |
Paying full freight for the manuals will still be the cheapest part of ownership.
Audi channel the ghost of Joe Lucas in all their electronics. |
Ha-Ha - No doubt that's correct, and I'm a glutton for punishment...

I finally convinced a friend to sell his Q3 after being charged literally thousands of dollars for repeated software updates. You'll need a decent diagnostic interface along with service info to do anything on it.

For my 2009 A3 I used,
Manuals, Bentley (http://www.ebahn.com), it looks like it only goes to 2009, idk Diagnostic, https://www.ross-tech.com/ . |

(it might not apply to 50lbs of books, but then again it should.) In terms of getting free complete and accurate information...g'luck. Be careful with opening those .pdfs. Scan first. Don't give any info. etc. Someone here might have a more appropriate opinion about Haynes Chiltons and the better ones available. For basic recalls, TSBs, and reviews I take a grain of salt and check https://www.carcomplaints.com |
