Their early work was some of their best. For those that lack their early albums, get a copy of “one foot in blues” and listen to the first half of it.

Very sad indeed
I was fortunate to finally see them a couple years ago. If you haven't seen "That LIttle Ol'Band From Texas" on Netflix, do yourself a favor and sit down with your favorite beverage tonight and toast one to Dusty while watching it. Heck, even if you have seen it, see it again

At least one of those guys was from Humble, TX. They would occasionally turn up at random whole in the wall ice house places and play a set or two.

Dang. Moving to the Houston area in 1967, I followed all the local bands. I still have the album Flash with the song 99th Floor by the Moving Sidewalks with Billy Gibbons. Gettin old is a drag sometime when the stuff that makes up your memories starts to dissolve. RIP Dusty.

I think at least one of them lived down near Kemah/San Leon/Bacliffe.
When I was bartending in topless bars, on separate occasions Frank Beard and then one of the bearded guys (I think it was Dusty) came into the club. And now I live "just down the road" from La Grange.

Seen them many times over the years, great band that don’t take themselves to seriously but know how to rock. RIP Mr. Hill

Years back, I remember my dad saying they made so much noise he could not believe they were a three piece band.
