I think the black car matches up, Esel. Here's a '68 and '69 Torino as well:

When my wife and I were first married we had a 1971 Torino GT convertible. It was a dark metallic maroon with a black interior and a white power top. The engine was a 351 Cleveland (zoom) with an automatic tranny. Most unusual was that it had power windows, top, power steering, power brakes and air conditioning. I think it had every option in the book with the possible exception of a larger V8 engine! It had been partially restored when I bought it and I finished the work. As life would have it, we got to a point where we needed a truck and I traded it in on a new 1983 Ford Ranger. I think I got about $4 or $5K for it! Really wish I had it back!

Well, at least the Ranger is worth a fortune now.

1968 Torino and 1968 Fairlane 500. I dunno 'bout you, but they look the same to me. Trim packages were the only difference, the bodies were the same. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...84cd20a225.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...d4e0885ab0.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...b67c8b12ec.jpg

That being said, looking at the rear, trunk area, it appears a fairlane trim has no center circular emblem like trim? But the torino does. Its blurry but the cream has that center circular emblem. Now your pontiac blue example tailpipe exit is on the side, but the black example tailpipe exits the rear. With the cream, it's definite there is no tailpipe exiting the side, and while very blurry it looks like one can see both tailpipes exiting the rear. Issue is the black example has 3 louvres on the fastback, but the original cream and the pontiac blue have 5. Sighe, why couldn't the owner maintain the model name trim on the rear quarter panel.... Tourino is a singular term, fairlane 500 is clearly two separate identifiable terms. |
Looks to me like there is something there in the center of the rear trim piece. 1968 Torino. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...a47469aaf6.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...532f474ca0.jpg

I spot a car on a random YouTube video. I'm going nuts trying to place it and within a day or two, I get a comprehensive history lesson on Ford trim levels.
Keep kicking ass, PPOT! http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1641185662.jpg |
