Still questioning the legitimacy of the claims of smaller, more powerful and longer range. Did they patent the tech?

I can't tell you how little I care about concept cars and their "claims". When they don't come close to delivering 99.9% of the time, they are just marketing BS.

It's mentioned more than once in the video that the car is not particularly powerful - that its longer range is the result of dramatically increased efficiency.

Dang thing is the equivalent of a VW bugs weight LESS than the Taycan. Some 1500lbs.

Still wouldn’t get a family of six 800 miles unless you had a couple of them. Same with the Toy-can.

I do not disbelieve in anything. I start from the premise that everything is true until proved false. Everything is possible.

Great looking car and the use of tech. It looks almost "old race car" from some angles.
"Full Vegan interior" - Cactus leather and synthetic silk!

The passively cooled battery via a massive alloy heat sink is a great idea. No cooling fluid or sundries to worry about.

So is it desirable? - Watching the video, I didn't get any warm fuzzy "I want to own it" feelings.
EV's are just appliances IMO however this one looks better than most.

Alloy disk brakes? How long will they last? Why not develop more economical carbon disks?

With regen braking on an EV you barely ever use the brakes.

Oops... Yes you're right. I didn't think of that.

2019, but still... it'll continue to happen from time to time, and probably not just in CA.

Those were on every block (sometimes several of them) when I was a kid. They're not all that common anymore.

We all (yup, six of us) begged dad to get a Mustang instead of the Country Sedan. He told us if we could figure out how to get our family of eight in it, he'd buy it. Drove home in the friggin' wagon.

Taken out of context. From 5 to 9 pm we are supposed to lighten up on the juice. The POCO is going to variable billing with KW's 2wice the rate at peak.
