Add in a 20mph wind and that would be downright chilly.

The long term forcast says next weekend a polar vortex of epic proportions is likely to roll in

Just got back online. We have been using the generator to keep the house going, but our internet comes off a repeater across the river. They just got power back over there around 6 PM. Our stretch of road is still in darkness, except for those running generators.
The horses are doing OK and the driveway (all 1/4 mile of it) is clear. I went over to the MIL'S After supper and cleaned up the last of the snow there.
All is well, except the wife doesn't get to see the surgeon for two more weeks.

Best
Les

Sounds like you're keeping up with it but I do know it's an effort. Sandy nearly kicked my azzz and it was warm at that time. Stay safe.

Tonight is easy. Last night, going out to the generator shed the wind and driving snow made it unpleasant.
Latest update for this area is another 16 hours.
Best

Just say screw it, and stay at home nice and safe and not have to get out in that crap. You have been there, done that. Enjoy watching other people struggle with the work.

That's the Guv in Virginia said everybody should have done....just a little bit of pushback on that. (I-95 blockage)

Beautiful home!!! I especially Love the upper porch!!! There are houses like that in my town's historical district with upper porches like that. I've always admired that feature, like a little private getaway.

Here comes the vortex! Brrrr. Single digits tonight. How I wish I had finished my astronomy enclosure. Tonights sky will be as clear as glass.
