The English toffee at the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory is excellent. I buy it every time I take a flight out of MSP; been a few years now, but it is high quality stuff.

Been buying those Heath bars for a few weeks now too and yes they are tasty.

stevej37 01-15-2022 08:00 AM

Stopped at my Walmart this am to pick-up a Skor bar and the Heath ice cream toppings.

Neither one in stock!
I'll try Meijers some other day.

I put this toffee syrup in my lattes. Does that count?

I don't think I've ever had Almond Toffee....but it sure sounds good.
I may have to try a box of the milk chocolate bars/chunks. :)

jcommin 01-15-2022 03:08 PM

Yes - very much

id10t 01-16-2022 04:19 AM

Get someone in LA to go by the farmers market, or call them and order yourself, but get some Little John's Candies English Toffee.....

mjohnson 01-16-2022 06:31 AM

Heck yes!

Skor - or that stuff above from GJ CO. There's another awesome one from Denver that's amazing.

Good enough that you don't need that much. In a way it's healthy (?). That's what I tell myself at least...

vash 01-16-2022 07:48 AM

good thing you bought that new dental cleaning tool STEVE!!

stevej37 01-16-2022 07:55 AM

^^^ Yep...it's already paying for itself. :)

Stopped at Meijers this am and they had the Heath Ice Cream Bits for ice cream topping.
Perfect for the half-time of todays NFC WildCard game!

Can you not simply chop up a Heath bar and accomplish the same thing?

stevej37 01-16-2022 08:09 AM

Probably...this was $2.85 for a half pound bag.
It came in under my $2.93 cash allowance per SS!

javadog 01-16-2022 08:12 AM

Yes, but you probably burned up at least a half gallon of gas in your Fit, driving all over town to find it.

I think you have exceeded your allowance for the day.

Around here, your allowance would comfortably buy you three Snickers bars, which I think is a much better investment.

stevej37 01-16-2022 09:13 AM

^^^ Snickers??
That's like comparing chuck steak to rib-eye. :D

cassisrot 01-16-2022 11:06 AM

Not sure, what’s her last name?
