I saw that earlier. The time lapse videos taken from space are quite interesting.

And the idiots here go to Santa Monica beaches to watch up close.

The video from space is amazing.

Heard about it from the sales manager at the California surf shop I bought my new board from last week.

I called to thank him and let him know the board arrived safe and sound.

He said things have been kinda crazy there (San Clemente) with concerns over it hitting the California coast. Said the Pacific Island of Konga was hit pretty hard. Doing a quick Google search - he must have meant Tonga.....or I misunderstood.......
