Ice is cool. (pun intended)
I live close to Lake St. Clair in Michigan, and near the mouth of the Detroit River. This part of the lake has a lot of currents, and creates some cool ice movements. Unfortunately, I couldn't capture the sound all this ice was making, but thought it looked cool.

Two things about the ice on my pond that are cool. 1) When the thick ice cracks the lake "sings" due to the sound bouncing off of the bottom. 2) Before it gets thicker than 1/2 inch the layers moves with the water surface. The sound it makes at that stage is like a glass wind chime.
