Does anyone know how to buy Russian stuff?

Looking for a magazine in Russian on the Dauer 962. Found it here on this random Russian site, but no way to register (need a Russian mobile phone), and stuck at a dead end?

Any suggestions?

Just have Donald give his bud Putin a call, he can set you up.

I thought it would be a quick google search, mostly found negative results. One did say do the deal in person and have your passport and the paper work ready for officials. Likely have some cash on hand to smooth things along the way with said officials.

My GF is from Ukraine.. Her best friend is Russian...I just asked her

stevej37 01-17-2022 03:25 PM

I opened the link and then used the translate button.
Then the blue box opened to send an email to him.

Wouldn't that work? Or am I missing something?

Cant understand a word they're saying. But it makes me want to try some Russian food. Maybe fish or something.

Ha, maybe he can bring it over to her next week when he gets there along with the Russian army! :) Sorry, I couldn't resist...

One needs to login to send a message. In order to login, one needs to register. In order to register, one needs a Russian mobile phone number?

I don't have one of those...

It's worth it to me $$$ to pay someone if they wanted to buy this stuff for me? They might earn themselves a nice steak dinner (although I don't know how much that costs in Russia!).

Seriously, if he wanted to assist in getting to me, that would be steak-dinner worthy...

Looking for those two magazine (SuperCars and that one with the Dauer on the cover).

I already sent the creator of this video a message today to see if he had some insight. Great minds think alike!

I bought stuff from Lithuania. Sent them an email in English with what i wanted to buy and what they accepted for payment. They sent me a payment link (i think PayPal?) and i got the stuff a couple weeks later.

Spaghetti on the wall idea: perhaps a small disposable account tied to VOIP, VPN, and a proxy bypass like they use for regional media?

chrome
translate

then register ?

I've done it on other russian websites it usually works out just fine

stevej37 01-18-2022 07:09 AM

^^^ That's what I saw also...except I didn't take the next step and try it. To register you need to add your phone number first and it won't accept our phone number format.
Without the correct prefix....your're stuck at that point.

Living where you are...your phone number might work.

I've bought stuff from Russia using paypal.

Zeke 01-18-2022 07:21 AM

Use the phone number of the American Embassy in Russia.

I sent the link to one of NASA buddies who's spent quit a bit of time in Russia to see if he knows someone.
