tossing my salad.

I have a really nice pear that ive coaxed into ripeness since i bought it two weeks ago and it is now in the fridge for a chilling.. my chick suggested we cut it up & put it on our salad tonite! I suggested she go get Fuch out and leave my pear alone. Not my pair mind you, she is welcome to those as she feels fit.

Not sure about putting pear in a salad.

I've done Kiwi and Mandarin Orange with excellent results.

Grapes too, I believe.

Keep us posted, Juan!

My wife makes a great salad with sautéed sweet onions, arugula, feta cheese and pear. It has a Champagne vinaigrette dressing. Great stuff and I'm not a salad guy.

I like my salad tossed with jelly or syrup.
I prefer syrup.

I like to keep things simple but my GF is always trying new things.

- So I made Greek salad and she wanted to ad chopped beetroot? (out of a can) Then she complained about the olives being too big!

I used to make a 7 layer dip with lots of olives. A female friend just whacked the thing and then asked if it was fattening. lol Nordstrom made a great pear salad, but the bleu cheese made me want to hurl.

I’m not sure I would want a pear in a salad but I once had a blue cheese and pear tart for dessert at the French Room in Dallas and that was maybe the greatest desert I’ve ever eaten.

Same here...I like every type of cheese, except bleu cheese. There's something about it that just tastes wrong.
