PP board broken?
 

Anyone else not seeing posts more recent than 28 Jan 2022?

Usually, the list of logged in users shows everyone, but I see only myself, and I don't see any new posts, though I did see some in the off topic pages, but the 28 Jan date code is static.

Browser is Firefox, and was fine on Friday, and no system changes were made on my part.

Login issues
 

In safari I cannot log into the forums anymore. My password gets deleted as soon as I enter, even though it gets recognized. I was still logged on this PC, but I appear as the only user on the forum, not even sure if this post will get posted. Is anyone experiencing similar issues? And no, I did not get banned (as far as I know).

From a desktop browser, tried both FF and Chrome and always warns me the login is insecure, probably due to the (non-fixed) SSL cert.

It is all fixed now, wasn't just me apparently.

I still cant get past the every other day can't log in garbage. It gets old and that's why I don't bother very much any longer with Pelican. Wayne would have been all over it like back in the olden days.

Yep, I view this forum and others on my phone and use an app called Tapatalk. For the past few days I wasn't able to respond to anything and I noticed that none of the topics would update, like for instance, the thread about the Miura that I posted showed 15 replies but when I viewed the post and scrolled down there were actually more replies than 15, and I wasn't able to add anything to the post. I thought it was a Tapatalk issue, but other forums that I view through Tapatalk seemed to be okay.
Anyhoo, glad it is all back up and running again.

Just a theory but I think someone is trying to "do something" to the forum and they're breaking it.

- There are lots of nasty people out there with nothing better to do.

I noticed yesterday if I clicked on a thread that had a recent post from Sunday the 13th I could see it even though the thread showed no posting since Friday
I was viewing with a laptop

And we're back again.

Every time the forum breaks it reminds me of how important it is.

Admit it, Glen, your royalties from the random pics thread were late and you pulled the plug. ;)

Actually not that long ago it broke on a Friday afternoon and it wasn't fixed until Monday afternoon (Aus time).
