150 (or more) Days of Fitness Activity in 2022!

Thought I would see if this type of thing would fly on the Bird Site as I participate on something similar on another forum that I frequent.
BASIC RULES to participate:
1. Each day can consist of 1 activity of at least 40 minutes. You can do as many activities as you wish on that day but it still counts as 1 day.
2. Any fitness type of activity is acceptable.
Walking, running, biking, kayaking, skiing, swimming, chopping wood, basketball, what ever floats yer boat...

Because I am a bit late starting this thread, list your activities you have done since the beginning of the new year.

I'll start:
1 - Jan 1- Fatbike fitness spin
2 - Jan 2- Fatbike fitness spin
3 - Jan 9- Downhill skiing
4 - Jan 10-Fatbike fitness spin
5 - Jan 11-Fatbike fitness spin

Join in and post your numbers and activities. You can share distance and time on your activities if you like.

Every day since 2001

Walk the dogs

more of a workout than you would think, given the size of them

Even my two border collies offer a workout on leash! Dogs are the best for getting us outside to play.

Awesome! I think it is interesting to know how other people keep active and fit.

Sorry but 150 days is lame...

I go to the gym 5-6-7 days a week.. and do 30 minutes of cardio... the some weights..

Have made it a habit...in 2010 I was on the high side of 230# and basically disgusting to look at

Now between 185-190# depending on my affinity for beer

I look better, and feel great

I run 10K once or twice a week, with the cold weather I can't run as my lungs get aggravated.
I started running in 2017, two years after retiring. It took a couple of years building up to running 10K

For people like you that have the discipline to do those trips to the gym daily, or commute on their bike 5 days a week and ride on the weekend 150 days of activity in a year is not a huge deal.

For someone that has issues with their health, old injuries, lack of time due to work or family obligations, 150 days is huge! I thought that reducing the number of days to something that was more achievable for the average guy might motivate a few to take part and increase their fitness.

Cheers!

Yoga/stretching most mornings. Winters I move inside and use my rower and stationary bike more. Did 336,000 meters in December. Lots of dog walks or I feel guilty. Dogs are a great motivator.

10- Dropped off the truck for service and rode the fatbike home. Just over an hour of trails and a climb out of the river valley.
Took each of the border collies for a walk individually. If I take the old dog and the young one together, the old girl works herself too hard trying to keep up. Got to love her spirit though.

I have a 61 year old back..

It's blessed with Arthritis. Scoliosis, and Sciatica.. Compressed discs

A few years ago I saw a family photo.... and I thought to myself... I am disgusting..

I got a gym membership and haven't looked back

I've lost almost 40#... and built up my core.. so that my back pain is gone..

Gym is part of my routine...Its on my way home from work... so there is no excuse to not go

Awesome, Tim.
Fitness can be addictive.
I have always been relatively fit. That being said, I have had a few surgeries that I have trouble with on occasion. As I get a little older (not far behind you) I find that I am easy to injure and slow to heal. It can be a challenge to keep fit at times.
On the positive side, I just had my physical the other day and the doc said that out of all the 59 year old men that come to his practice I was one of the more fit. Made me feel pretty good. Hopefully I am not the only 59 year old man at his practice!

I’m in. I walk my dog every weekday. 2.3 miles mainly flat. Today we did a 2.5 mile hike up and down hills. Soon I’ll start lifting or doing band exercises.

Thanks to roughly 2 ft. of drifting snow I shoveled for around 5 hours today. I did my driveway, my 2 neighbors driveway and their sidewalks.
Most of the work was done using my snow blower but I still had to shovel in areas that the machine couldn't reach.
I also paid my neighbors 2 girls to shovel my rear deck. They're 5 and 10 and I paid them $20. The look on the younger ones face when I paid her was priceless.

I recommend the tuba. It combines lifting and band.
