Who can eyeball a Cayman in Teterboro for me?

Subject says it all.

Car looks clean.

Car was tracked a couple of times which doesn't bother me too much.

Anyone have a shop they recommend?

I'm even good with an eyeball from a local to proceed with seller.

I'll Venmo gas and lunch funds.

This weekend if possible.

You're not tempted to eyeball it yourself. It must be 30 minutes from Newark airport?

Apex Autoworks in Clifton is most likely closest. John the owner is involved with PCA in the area.
Precision Motor Sports is in Long Valley. Will DiGiovanni is the owner and is also very involved in PCA/NNJR and preps a few local race cars. I would probably choose Will over John but he is further away from Teterboro.
Powertech is in Rockaway which is probably 45mins away (traffic allowing). Mike Daino and Keith Peare are the owners. Another NNJR active shop that service air-cooled and water-cooled cars and Porsche race cars. Mike tracks a Cayman, Keith tracks both a 914 and a Boxster and both are considered among the best drivers in the area. Powertech does good work too. Good luck.

Well of course i’m tempted but it’s a 10 hour at least round trip and $500 just to see if it’s worth looking at for more than 5 minutes.

I've used both PMR and Powertech to service my Porsche. I highly recommend both for a PPI. I haven't had any interactions with Apex, but they are involved with PCA and I know a few folks that have used them as well, with no complaints.

A PPI from a shop that is engaged with PCA will get you the best idea of what's going on with the car you are looking at -- cheaper than you checking it out, more reliable than asking someone you know to check it out, and overall, your best option.

Going to try and get Apex to take a look , they are only a couple of miles from seller.

Car is priced well and will move which seller knows so he's not going to jump through hoops if he has an easier sell on the hook.

Don't blame him, I'd do the same.

If it doesn't work out, wasn't meant to.
