Do you suppose the hogs walked up and thought to themselves "holy sh.t! I could be next!" ?

One of my wife's cousins has some ranch land in Texas. He goes out to set traps for feral hogs, and kills any on sight. He usually just hooks them to his 4 wheeler ATV and drags them into the open so the buzzards will see it. They can strip it to bones in no time. The coyotes get the rest. He know is is a loosing battle and they breed like hogs, and make rabbits look like they have slow reproduction rates.

They are really destructive, so it is always open season on pigs.
