It will be close to 90º here today but the WR says that the trend is to cool some. Sunday should see mid 80's here and in L.A. It's typical that near the Long Beach Airport (LGB) is usually on par with downtown L.A. While near the beach anywhere, including LAX, it can be anywhere from 10 to 15º cooler. However, real estate is 50% more where the temps are less.

Traffic is the same for everyone. Hard to buy your way out of that.

Of course, last year, we set records for cold weather in mid-Feb. So I'm not going to tempt fate.

We had the rain/ice last week. Had about 1/4 inch on my two vehicles and couldn't open the doors.

Now it is 50 to 60 degrees.


I asked my son, college boy, how he likes living in Texas now. Said he misses the seasons that we had in Northern Virginia. I will say the same when it is 100 degrees for 60 days straight this summer.
