After watching that this past weekend, I was inspired to drive my own air cooled 911 through downtown LA. But it was the 964, not the 930, because my teenage daughter likes the targa better. And it was during the day, not at night, because she wanted to check out Little Tokyo.

Funny, I drove my 930 also but not because of this vid, but It needed to be driven. Last time it was driven was 4 months ago. I drive through those tunnels often on my way home if I have to come through downtown. Pin the pedal at night in second gear with windows wide open and let her sing at 75mph

I had taken the 930 out the previous day on a PCA canyon run, so I wanted to exercise the 964, too. And yeah, during the canyon run we went through a tunnel. The driver of the car in front later remarked how he could hear the 930 whooshing through the tunnel.

Mine runs a bit rich, with all the un-burn gas and the revs up, lift off the pedals, it shoots flames out the tail pipes. I have BB headers and Borla mufflers. How often do you drive them?

I'd love to shoot flames out the tailpipe on decel. So childish, but turbos just naturally make you be a bit of a hooligan.

I probably drive each car once per week (or every other). Sometimes just to a Sunday morning cars and coffee (there are so many here in LA) or to go visit my parents in Hollywood, but it's good psychological therapy to get out in a fun car. Makes the daily grind feel worthwhile, if you know what I mean.

You still get over the hill for work out on the other side? That drive during rush hour is horrible but you are going against traffic. I no longer go out to the west side much because of the traffic and the nasty people. I like to attend some of the cars and coffee now and again but have lost interest in reason few years. I only go to Sherwood's LaCanada tire kicking events once or twice a year because they old guys that go are pretty good people. Which car show do you go to? I have never been Super Car and Coffee in the Valley. Is that good or interesting? I spend all my weekends mornings riding my bike.

Driving them once a week is great for them. My air cool cars just sits most times. The Cayman is my daily besides my the dumb trucks and SUV. Can't show up in a P car to work.

All the paint is burnt off the bumper and rear valance where my exhaust exits on the 930. BB headers also . I love it at night, when you can look behind you and see a little bit of flame out on de acceleration .
I do not drive it enough . I am seriously thinking about selling , the prices seem to be rising again . It was my dream car , but I struggle to find time to enjoy it.
Stay boosted !
