Porsche going All in on EV ??
Not sure if this is the right location for my question but here goes. Recent Headlines talk about Porsche (and other car makers) are spending big bucks building manufacturing plants to build EV vehicles.
Maybe I reading too much into this but it seems to me like some of these companies may be over-reading the demand for EV's. I know I won't give up my classic Porsche and would never consider converting it to an electric vehicle. I also hear a lot about people wanting us to convert our worlds to Electric but I'm not sure what the plan is to recharge all those devices and vehicles. Germany shut down 3 nuclear power plants last year and plan to shut down the remaining 3 this year. I don't believe anyone is building new nuke's; at least I haven't heard about it. I just don't believe we can run a economy on wind and solar power. . Anyone have any thoughts on this? ![]() |

Demand will be there because EVs will be the only thing available. Most major manufacturers have already halted further development of IC engines and have committed to building only battery-electric powertrains for passenger vehicles in the very near future.
